John Jay High School

Over the past years John Jay High School's drama organization Proscenium has effectively raised the bar to new and soaring heights.

With productions ranging from the traditional Guys & Dolls & Fiddler on the Roof, to our most recent production of Jekyll & Hyde, we have succeeded in raising the bar to what we consider professional levels.

Reaching out to the community, Proscenium has become the "Broadway of Dutchess County" to quote one of our patrons.

The organization involves hundreds of students and our shows are attended by thousands over the year.

Usually doing two musicals and a high level drama each year, we seek to obtain excellence in educational theater while having a wonderful time in the process.
